In our world today, so many people put themselves down and tell themselves they are not good enough. They don't love themselves enough or at all. We continue to criticize ourselves and try to break our own confidence down. What we really need to do is step back and take the time to really appreciate our very existence. We need to be thankful for being who we are because in the end, whether we real. Ou are your worst critic. Low Self-esteem is one of the biggest issues I have observed around the world, especially in high school.
We need to start having self-confidence in ourselves. Some of us say we could care less what others say and sometimes for most that is true, but for others it is just a cover up.
Everyone has true beauty no matter who they are or what they look like. We each have some. Ever since I was little I have always had respect for myself. Nothing anyone said or did would ruin my self esteem. I believe in myself and I believe others should also believe in themselves. I respect myself and accept who I am which makes me a better person, a friendly person and a good kid.
Having too much self esteem can be a bad thing. If I think I am better than everyone else and that I can be great at everything then it just makes a person that everyone dislikes. What I am saying is that you should respect and like yourself but not to the extent of being conceited. I know some people who are just depressed all the time. It makes me sad to see them without respect for themselves and just in a state of misery.
Those with low self esteem hurt themselves which could lead to hurting others.
